Maple Town (Maple Town Monogatari in Japan) was an anime series centering on the adventures of Patty Rabbit, Bobby Bear, and their families, in a small utopian anthropomorphic city. The program is best known through its collectible merchandising, with a variety of figurines with changeable clothing as well as houses, furniture, and vehicles.
The show prominently displayed traditional values. In the United States, each episode was prefaced with a live-action introduction by Mrs. Maple (Janice Adams), who delivered the moral of the episode.
