The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a college athletic conference which operates in the northeastern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I-AA for football and Division I for all other sports.
There are fourteen partial or full-time member schools:

- Long Island University [LIU] (Brooklyn) [no football program]
- University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] [no football program]
- Monmouth University
- Mount St. Mary's College [no football program]
- Quinnipiac College [no football program]
- Robert Morris College
- Sacred Heart University
- St. Francis College (NY) [no football program]
- St. Francis College (PA)
- Stony Brook University [football-only member]
- Wagner College
