Alex (Alex the Stockbroker) is the principal character in a British cartoon strip drawn by Charles Peattie and Russell Taylor.
The cartoon strip first appeared in the late 1980s and satirised the excesses of yuppies in that era. It appeared in The Independent from 1987 to 1991, and has appeared in the The Daily Telegraph since new year 1992.
