Andrei Codrescu (born December 20, 1946), born in Sibiu, Romania. is a United States poet, novelist, essayist, screenwriter, and commentator for National Public Radio.
Codrescu emigrated to the United States in 1966, and became naturalized in 1981. He is an editor of the online journal The Exquisite Corpse at corpse.org, and is a MacCurdy Distinguished Professor of English at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
