This is Part One of the APAS FAQ. Until the middle of 2002, this was maintained and updated by Computer Cryptology (CC). Since that period it has remained largely unchanged until late 2002 when a regular of APAS (Bluejay) decided to make some updates.
My apologies to him as this version doesn't include those updates, however I think it best to start from where CC left off and hopefully maintain an accurate change log within the Wiki.
APAS Anonymous Remailer Use (FAQ 1/8): Overview
