Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Apples in Stereo is an indie rock band associated with the innovative Elephant 6 Recording Company, a group of bands also including Neutral Milk Hotel, Secret Square and Olivia Tremor Control. Led by Robert Schneider, the band formed in Denver, Colorado with Jim McIntyre, Robert Parfitt and Hilarie Sidney. Their debut release was Apples in Stereo, followed by 1995's full-length Fun Trick Noisemaker.
