The Arbre du Ténéré (Ténéré's Tree) was located in Ténéré region, Niger, in the Sahara; it was the only tree in the region.

The Arbre du Ténéré was famous in being the most isolated tree on the planet. About 400 km from the nearest tree, it was shown on a map at a scale of 1:4,000,000.

It was an Acacia, belonging probably to the species Acacia raddiana and may have been 300 years old. The tree was hit in 1973 by a Libyan truck.

It has since been replaced by a metallic structure representing a tree.
