The Assembly demo party is an annual demo party in Finland, which is by many considered by far the most prestigious demo party of them all.

Much should be said about its history, but in later years the meeting has grown into such sizes that even exposition halls no longer suffice and only the largest of sports arenas meet the programmers needs. In 2003 they had to rent the largest sports-arena in the country; Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with over about 5000 people being in attendance with 3500 computers on the ice-rink.
