Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Aukrust is a Norwegian family, originally from Lom. One line setteled in Alvdal in the beginning of the 20th century. That line was first mentioned in a document from 29 June 1367, and the family is still keeping the farm(s). Today the original farm is separated into three: Sygard (south-farm), Nordgard (north-farm) and Nørdre (northern). Nørdre was separated from Nordgard in 1836. It is not known when Sygard was separated. Olav Aukrust, Pål Aukrust and Lars, father of Kjell Aukrust, were born at Nordgard. This article is from Wikipedia.
