Within J.R.R. Tolkien's conception of the languages of Middle-earth as expounded in the Lhammas, Aulëan is the language phylum of Khuzdul, the language of the Dwarves. It is there contrasted with Oromëan, the language phylum of the Elvish languages such as Quenya and Sindarin.

Aulëan is so named because its ancestral language supposedly derives from the speech of Aulë the Smith, the Vala who created the Dwarves.
