Babi Yar is the name of a ravine situated outside the city of Kiev, Ukraine. It is the site of a mass murder of the Jewish population by German military during World War II.

According to the Einsatzgruppe Operational Situation Report No. 101, 33,771 Jews were killed at Babi Yar on September 29 and September 30, 1941: systematically shot dead by machine gun fire.

Some Neo-Nazis deny this massacre.
