Barbara Hastings, 13th Countess of Loudoun (1919-2002) became Countess in 1960. She married three times, and lived in Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, England. She was a member of the House of Lords until 1999 when the right of hereditary peers to sit in the Lords was abolished, but rarely if ever sat in the house.

When she died, she was succeeded by her son, Michael Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun.
