Barrow-in-Furness is a local government district in Cumbria, England, styled a town. It has a population of 72,000.

The area that this district covers is at the edge of the Furness peninsula. It jolts into the Irish Sea, and is north of Morecambe Bay, south of the Duddon Estuary. This area is historically part of Lancashire.

Twenty minutes away is the English Lake District.
