Baskin-Robbins is an American ice cream establishment founded in 1945 in Glendale, California. It purports itself as "the world's largest ice cream franchise", with more than 4,500 locations, 2,300 of which are located in the United States. Baskin-Robbins was purchased by J.Lyons in 1973, which is now part of Allied Domecq PLC. Baskin-Robbins, Togo's, and Dunkin Donuts comprise Allied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants, part of Alliend Domecq PLC.

Baskin-Robbins is also known as 'Thirty-One Flavors'. Although its flavor library consists of 1000 flavors, only 31 flavors are available at a store at a given time, one for each day of the month.

In practice, most Baskin Robbins' franchises carry 32 flavors at any given time, due to the rectangular shape of the refrigeration units.
