Changeling is the name given to two different comic book characters. One of them appears in DC Comics and the other appears in Marvel Comics.

The Changeling (real name unknown) is a comic book supervillain in the Marvel Comics universe. He is a nemesis of the X-Men, and first appeared in X-Men #35 (1967).

Changeling is a mutant with the ability to alter his physical appearance at will to resemble that of any person he chooses. He also has limited telepathic abilities.

History

The Changeling originally worked for the villainous organization Factor Three. Following that group's defeat, he reformed and became a member of the X-Men for a short time, but was killed shortly after. However, in alternate continuities, the character of Changeling has appeared as Morph.
