Christian Arabs are found mainly in Lebanon, with significant other populations in Iraq (e.g. Assyrian Christians), Syria (see Jacobite Orthodox Church), Egypt (mainly people of Coptic descent, but also some of Palestinian descent), and Israel (see Palestinian Christians). While there are many other groups of Christians in the Arab world (Copts in Egypt, Armenians in Iraq, and certain groups in the Sudan), these are not usually considered ethnically Arab. Many Lebanese Christians are Maronite Catholics.
