It is approximately 18 miles from central London, yet it can take upwards of an hour to reach the centre by tube. Cockfosters is literally the end of the line, since there are no mainline tracks beyond here. Cockfosters was opened 31 July 1933. It is located on Cockfosters Road (EN4) in Enfield.
