With a name procured from a Sam Sheperd play, Cowboy Mouth are a rock band based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The nucleus of the band joined up in the early 1990s, and climbed the ladder from opening act living in a van to a powerhouse live act that has been called "a religious experience" by more than one music journalist.
