The racial makeup of the county is 78.27% White, 18.15% Black or African American, 0.33% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 1.15% from other races, and 1.43% from two or more races. 2.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
