Danny Lebern Glover (born July 22, 1946) is an American actor born in San Francisco, California. In March 1998, he was appointed ambassador to the United Nations Development Program. He has been married to Asake Bomani since 1975 and has one child named Mandisa. He also has a younger brother named Martin. Among many awards, he has won five NAACP Image Awards, for his achievements as a black actor.
