The Dassault Mirage F1 is an interceptor aircraft built in France. It is a single-seat defense and air-superiority airplane. It's first flight was in 1966. The Mirage F1 entered service in 1973 and it served as the main interceptor for the French Air Force until the development of the Mirage 2000.

Over 700 F1s have been produced and they have served in the Air Forces of over ten countries: France, Greece, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Qatar, South Africa and Spain. The plane has a maximum speed of Mach 2.2 and a range of 1160 nautical miles.
