Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is a member of The Wildlife Trusts partnership. It was established in 1962 and has over 6,000 members.

It manages 40 nature reserves totalling over 1,000 acres of woodland, wetland and meadows. Many of them are Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
