Eindhoven Airport is a small airport near Eindhoven. Its IATA Airport Code is EIN. It is a hub for KLM exel.

The airport is being used for both civilian and military traffic. After World War II up until a few years ago, Eindhoven Airport was called Welschap.

During WWII it was bombed a lot. While building new houses in Meerhoven (a district of Eindhoven), a lot of these bombs were found and had to be dismantled.

On july 17 1996, a C-130 Hercules plane crashed at the airport. The plane caught fire and in the intense heat 34 people died.

KLM exel and Ryanair fly schedules flights into Eindhoven.

"Last Minutes" are done by Corendon Vlieg Airlines, GTI Travel, HTC Reisen, and Kras SterVakantieo.

Ryanair does "City Trips".
