Feni is a southern district of Bangladesh. It is small but has a rich history dating back to almost 3000 years. It is comprised of six Upazilas: Feni, Chhagalnaiya , Parshuram, Fulgazi, Daganbhuiyan and Sonagazi.

Before 1984 it was under the Noakhali district, and in 1984 Feni became a full fledged district. Feni's climatic condition is modest, it borders Comilla, Noakhali and Chittagong districts. Bay of Bengal lies in the south of Feni. Feni is home to many noted Bangladeshis. Among them are Begum Khaleda Zia, present Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Zahir Raihan, Shahidullah Kaisar, Habibullah Bahar Chowdhury, Hamidul Haque Chodhury.
