The Flummery Digest was a World Wide Web-based news digest published monthly by Mike Sierra on the subject of political correctness. While Flummery Digest had many the characteristics of a Weblog (it was updated with fresh news items several times a month) it actually predates the blog technology by several years. Sierra used his knowledge of Emacs and Perl to acomplish the same effect.

Sierra has ceased publication of Flummery Digest to spend more time with his family, leaving the task to publications such as Tongue Tied.
