The Ford 385 engine family was the American Ford Motor Company's final big block V8 engine design, superceding the Ford FE engine family. It was available in three sizes in production vehicles; 370 cubic inches (6.1 litres) in trucks only, 429 cubic inches (7.0 litres) and 460 cubic inches (7.5 litres). A 512 cubic inch (8.4 litre) crate engine was also available from Ford SVO. The engines were sold between 1968 and 1997.
