Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index The Rt. Hon. George Howard, PC, KB (June 17, 1718 - July 16, 1796) was a British military officer. He participated in the American Revolution, and before receiving his position of field marshal, he commanded various regiments, including the 3rd Regiment of Foot, the 1st Regiment of Dragoon Guards (the King's), and the 7th Regiment of Dragoons (the Queen's).
