The German Workers Party (Deutsche Arbeiter Partei) was founded by Anton Drexler together with Karl Harrer, Gottfried Feder and Dietrich Eckart in Munich, Germany in 1919. It was a völkisch political organization, one of many organizations that sprung up in the early days of the Weimar Republic, eventually changing its name to National Socialist German Workers Party (informally called Nazi Party) and coming to greater prominence.
