Gerald Bermingham (born 20 August 1940) is a British poltician, and was Labour member of Parliament for St Helens South, until he stood down 2001. He stood down just in time for Shaun Woodward, a defector from the Conservatives, who was looking for a safe Labour seat, to take it.
