He was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, and is well known for the CODCO television series and his impersonations of Barbara Frum, Jean Chrétien, and Queen Elizabeth II. He wrote and performed in 43 Wonderful Grand Band shows for the CBC, and appeared on many other shows. He participated in the campaign that stopped the privatization of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, and has championed other environmental causes, including garbage to Newfoundland. After the death of COD-Co-star Tommy Sexton in 1993, he devoted some years of his life to raising the awareness of HIV and AIDS. This article is from Wikipedia.
