Harry Worth (1920 - 20 July 1989) was a British comedy actor, now best remembered for his 1960s series, Here's Harry. His standard performance was as a genial, bumbling middle-class man who reduced all who came into contact with him (tradesmen, neighbours, etc) to a state of frustration. The famous opening credits featured Harry stopping in the street to perform an optical illusion involving a shop window. Reproducing this effect was popularly known as "doing a Harry Worth".
