First produced in 1984, the Honda Civic CRX is a lightweight two-passenger economy sport hatchback.

Restyled in 1988 and produced through 1994, the CRX was very popular for its performance (the "Si" model), quick handling, and good fuel economy (the "HF" model could reliably achieve better than 50 miles per gallon, more than a decade before gas-electric hybrids appeared on the market).
