Hot Springs is a city located in Garland County, Arkansas in the United States of America. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 35,750.

The racial makeup of the city is 78.86% White, 16.87% Black or African American, 0.55% Native American, 0.79% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.02% from other races, and 1.86% from two or more races. 3.80% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
