Javier Sánchez (born February 1, 1968) is a former tennis player. He was born in Pamplona, Spain.

Sánchez turned professional on the ATP tour in 1986. He became prominent in 1989, on light of his sister's French Open triumph. Aranxta Sánchez-Vicario became the youngest winner ever of that contest at the age of seventeen. His brother, Emilio Sánchez, was also a professional tennis player.

Javier Sánchez won 219 tournament games, and lost 240. In 1991, he had his best year, ranking number 32 worldwide. Sánchez and his siblings form part of arguably one of the best tennis families in the world.
