Jennifer Love Hewitt (b. February 21, 1979) is an American actress.

Hewitt's fame is based on her role as Sarah Reeves in the popular television series Party of Five, and on her role in the film I Know What You Did Last Summer. The latter made her into one of the most popular actresses in the United States for a very brief time, but she was not able to duplicate its success either in theaters or on television.

Hewitt's appeal was due primarily to her physical attractiveness, in particular to her chest, which was widely admired at the time. References to her breasts cropped up in almost all of her print interviews, and at one point inspired the creation of a website devoted solely to them.

Like many stars of the late 1990s and early new millennium, Hewitt began her career as a child actor on the Disney Channel. She was a regular cast member of Kids Incorporated, alongside future Black Eyed Peas vocalist Stacy Ferguson. She parlayed this into a recording career before achieving widespread notice with a role on Party of Five. Hewitt has continued to attempt to establish herself as a recording artist, but so far with little success.

Following I Know What You Did, Hewitt attempted a prime time television vehicle of her own, Time of Your Life, but it was cancelled after a single season. Her role in a television biopic about Audrey Hepburn was universally condemned and marked her fall from the ranks of the most popular teenage actors.

More recently she has starred with Sigourney Weaver in the movie Heartbreakers, which also starred Gene Hackman and Ray Liotta.

Hewitt received a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for her acting in I Know What You Did Last Summer.

She has reportedly had high album sales in the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan.
