Jim Davis (born October 11 1957), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing the 11th District of Florida. He was born in Tampa, Florida, was educated at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and at the University of Florida, and was a lawyer and a member of the Florida House of Representatives before entering the House.
