Knightmare was a UK television programme for children aired on ITV from 1987 to 1994. It featured a team of children (11-16), one of whom would be wearing a special helmet which left them unable to see, trying to overcome various dillemas in a fantasy dungeon. The child in the helmet would be in the computer generated fantasy world (blue screen) while the others had to watch and guide him/her with hurried desciptions and shouted instructions. The object of the game was to collect various items and get out 'alive'.
