Krishna Maharaj (born January 26, 1939) is a Trinidad-born British businessman. In 1987 he was convicted by a Florida court for the murder of two men, and was sentenced to death. His sentence was commuted to life imprisonment in 2002.

In 2001 three hundred British politicians, from various different parties, wrote a letter to the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, asking for a retrial, saying there were 'astonishing flaws' in the case against him and his original trial. He claims to have seven witnesses that place him 25 miles away from the murder scene at the time of the trial.
