Lakeside is at the south end of Lake Windermere, Lancashire, England. It was established as a steamer pier for services along the lake, and had a railway termninus next to the pier, and a hotel.

The steamers still call at Lakeside and the railway has been converted to a steam-powered heritage line, though now only going as far as Haverthwaite. There is now an impressive aquarium featuring fish found in the rivers and seas around the Lake District.
