Lalu Prasad Yadav is chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal in India. He is also ex-chief minister of Bihar, India and husband of chief minister of Bihar.

He was born on June 11, 1948 to Late Shri Kundan Rai at Phulwaria, Distt. Gopalganj (Bihar). He married Rabri Devi in June 1973 and has two sons and six daughters. He is an arts graduate and has been a political and social worker and lawyer.
