"Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Jesus' Childhood Friend" is the very long title of an absurdist fiction novel by author Christopher Moore. In it, Moore proposes to tell the story of the first thirty years of the life of Jesus through the point of view of his childhood pal, Biff bar Levi, who has been ressurrected to complete missing parts of The Bible. The story begins by following childhood Jesus and his pal Biff, as well as their friend Maggie (Mary Magdalene,) and follows Jesus' growth into the Messiah as he travels for thirty years to seek out the three wise men who attended his birth.
