Lee is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of Lee in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,021.

The racial makeup of the CDP is 95.50% White, 1.39% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.89% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.24% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. 4.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 901 households out of which 27.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.4% are married couples living together, 10.4% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 44.4% are non-families. 38.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.20 and the average family size is 2.88.
