Lene Lovich (born March 30, 1949) is an American-born singer of Yugoslav and British parentage. In the 1960s she moved to England with her mother after her parents separated. She moved to London, studied at art school, and in 1978 signed with influential new-wave label Stiff Records. Her biggest hit was probably New Toy which was written by Thomas Dolby (who had played keyboards in her "band").
