\nAs of the census2 of 2000, there are 13,754 people, 5,697 households, and 3,760 families residing in the county. The population density is 9/km² (22/mi²). There are 6,554 housing units at an average density of 4/km² (11/mi²). The racial makeup of the county is 97.98% White, 0.60% Black or African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.15% from other races, and 0.76% from two or more races. 0.76% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
