Lipnice nad Sazavou is a town in the Decin region of the Czech Republic. It is where Czech author Jaroslav Hašek drank himself to death in 1923 and is buried, and was also the location (at a folk festival) where Vaclav Havel made his first public appearance in 19 years in 1987.

There is a notable 14th century castle at Lipnice nad Sazavou.
