Commander of the Bosnian Muslim forces in Srebrenica, accused of having commanded over numerous raids into Serb villages. The worst hit were municipalities of Bratunac, Srebrenica and Skelani.
However in the summer of 1995 Srebrenica fell to the Serb forces, which proceeded to kill over 7000 unarmed men and boys. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia has charged Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic for this war crime. They still remain at large.
Naser Oric surrendered peacefully to the authorities when the warrant was made public on the 28th of March 2003.
