The National Socialist Movement is an openly neo-Nazi group operating in the United Kingdom. It splintered from the Combat 18 organisation in 1997. It is thought to have 80+ supporters. Two of its members, Charlie Sargent and Martin Cross, are serving life for murder. Its publications include Column 88, White Dragon and The Order.
Prominent figures include leader Tony Williams, founding member Steve Sargent and David Myatt. London Nailbomber David Copeland was a member.
An earlier group of this name was started in 1962 by Colin Jordan; it changed its name to the British Movement in 1968. The present group is not directly related to the British Movement.
