Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index The province of New East Prussia was the easternmost province of the Kingdom of Prussia between 1794 and 1807. When Poland was occupied by Prussia in 1794, it was split between Prussia and Russia. Prussia got most of Poland and turned it into a district. The capital city of the district was Warsaw. The province ceased to exist when Napoleon liberated it in 1807, and the territory became a part of the Duchy of Warsaw. This article is from Wikipedia.
