Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Nickerson Field is located on the site of Braves Field,in Boston, Massachusetts the former home of the National League Boston Braves baseball team, now located in Atlanta, Georgia. The American League's Boston Red Sox also used it as a home field for some World Series games, because it was larger than Fenway Park. The stadium is now owned by Boston University. In 1983 the Boston Breakers of the United States Football League played their home games at Nickerson Field.
