Series 60 is currently amongst the leading smartphone platform in the world. It is licensed by some of the foremost mobile phone manufacturers in the world including Siemens, Samsung, Panasonic, Sendo and Nokia.

The Series 60 Platform is a multivendor standard for smartphones that supports application development in JavaMIDP, C++, and browsing environments.
